Request a Blue Jays Instructional Clinic

Once again the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy are offering local baseball associations across Ontario the opportunity to host a Blue Jays Honda Instructional Clinic for young players aged 8 to 14. Blue Jays Honda Instructional Clinics will be taking place from April to July. These baseball clinics are an excellent fundraising opportunity for your local association and will compliment your local association's player development program.

Blue Jays Baseball Academy instructors will focus on teaching young players of all abilities the fundamental skills of baseball in a fun and structured atmosphere. Each clinic will be four hours in length. During the clinic, players will rotate through drills that will deal with skills such as: hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, and base running. We also invite coaches to come on to the field to observe and ask our instructors questions.

The Blue Jays Honda Instructional Clinic fee is only $45 per player. The Blue Jays are aware of the need for local associations to raise funds to offset some of the rising costs they are experiencing. Therefore local associations will receive $20 per registration for the clinic. The Blue Jays will process the registrations and payments on BlueJays.com/clinics and will provide all of the necessary equipment for the clinic. Clinic donations will only be granted to minor baseball associations only and associations must reach a minimum of 40 registered players before qualifying for a donation.

Host Association Responsibilities:

  • Securing a field for the clinic
  • Arrange an indoor facility in case of rain, Monitor weather for day of camp and liaise with camp lead accordingly
  • Arrive one hour prior to camp start time and be present for full duration of camp

  • Provide directions to park
