The Commodores • 70s Night • May 24 vs. Orioles

The Commodores The Commodores were a highly successful funk/soul band of the 1970s and 1980s. The members of the group met as freshmen at Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) in 1968 and signed with Motown having first caught the public eye opening for The Jackson 5 while on tour. Top hits include "Easy," "Brick House," "Three Times a Lady" and "Still."



Trace Adkins • Country Night • May 31 vs. White Sox

Trace Adkins Over the past decade, Adkins has racked up a long string of hits over eight top-selling albums. He has sold millions of records, won dozens of industry awards and become a member of the prestigious Grand Ole Opry. Top hits include "Honky-Tonk Badonkadonk," "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing," "Every Light in the House," "Songs About Me," "Arlington," "Hot Mama" and "Swing."

Gilberto Santa Rosa Gilberto Santa Rosa is an artist who has most successfully bridged the lively sounds of the rhythmical patterns of the salsa from the 1960s and 70s and enriching the music with new sound formulas, which modified the genre at the start of the 1980s. Santa Rosa received a Latin Grammy in 2006 and a Grammy in 2007 for his album, "Directo al corazón."

Loverboy In 1980 Loverboy introduced themselves to the world with their self-titled debut album. They quickly became one of America's and MTV's most popular rock bands. From 1980 through 1987 Loverboy garnered four multi-Platinum albums and numerous international Gold albums. Their top hit singles include "Working For The Weekend," "Turn Me Loose," "The Kid is Hot Tonite" "Lovin' Every Minute Of It" and "Queen of the Broken Hearts."



MC Hammer • 90s Night • July 19 vs. Blue Jays

MC Hammer It's Hammertime! MC Hammer brought rap music to the mass pop audience. Armed with a flamboyant wardrobe (especially those trademark baggy parachute pants), Hammer's talents as a dancer and showman exceeded those around him. Hammer has ties to baseball as he was the former batboy with the Oakland A's in the 1970s. Top hits include "U Can't Touch This," "Too Legit to Quit" and "Here Comes the Hammer."



LL Cool J • African American Celebration • Aug. 2 vs. Tigers

LL Cool J At 33 years old, LL Cool J has received two Grammy Awards, penned his own autobiography "I Make My Own Rules" and is the first rap artist to garner six consecutive platinum-plus selling albums and six gold singles. In addition to hits like "Mama Said Knock You Out" and "Bigger & Deffer," LL Cool J has starred in 17 films and one hit television series, "In The House."
