Get ready for the Rays 2009 season with Fan Fest, presented by MetroPCS on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tropicana Field!


A $10 donation to the Rays Baseball Foundation gets you a wristband which gives you the opportunity to get autographs from some of your favorite Rays stars! Rays Season Ticket Holders will be mailed wristbands prior to Fan Fest (one per seat). Autographs for kids 14 and under are FREE. Stop by the designated tables for your wristbands - autographs run from noon until 5 p.m. and wristbands will be available until 4:30 p.m. The Rays Baseball Foundation is focused on youth and education in the Tampa Bay community.

Sign up for Rays season tickets and receive the biggest discounts as well as postseason privileges. Season ticket holders receive complimentary Fan Fest wristbands for access to the autograph lines and will also be able to have pictures taken with a Rays player during the event. Season tickets start at $213.

A special 9=8 ticket package will be on sale at Fan Fest. More details about the plan will be available as the event nears; however, by purchasing the package, you will receive a wristband for access to player autographs.

You'll also have an opportunity to get your picture taken with the American League Championship Trophy.

This family friendly event will include activities for everyone so be sure to check out the Bright House Sports Network kids interactive area with wiffle ball home run derby challenges, speed pitch machines, batting cages and much more!

MetroPCS is bringing back Call-A-Friend where fans have the chance to let one of their favorite Rays players make a call to their friends or family members!

Meet and discuss the Rays upcoming season with special guests Buck Martinez of XM Radio, Rays Radio Network and TV personalities. The Rays will also welcome a special guest, Joey Chestnut, the winner of the 2007 and 2008 Annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, will greet fans and sign autographs. Chestnut, who unseated Kobayashi as the world champion, is ranked as the number one professional eater in the world.

Baseball memorabilia collections of some of the greatest players of the game will be present - including autographed baseballs from Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb. The Ted Williams Museum and Hitters Hall of Fame will also be open for the event.
