Every Tuesday home game, the Rays along with Champs Sports take time to recognize a child who has proven to be a true champion through the Tuesday's Champion program.

Through this program the Rays partner with Children's Dream Fund and Make-A-Wish Foundation to make dreams come true for children who are battling life-threatening illnesses. Each child has a special VIP experience at Tropicana Field with the Rays. The child and their family are invited out to the ballpark as Rays VIP guests where they get to watch batting practice from the field, meet their favorite players, and Tuesday's Champion gets to throw out the first pitch. Along with these once in a lifetime experiences, each Tuesday's Champion is presented with a personalized jersey and bat.

This tradition continues to brighten the lives of these special children every Tuesday and the Rays look forward to maintaining this program for many more seasons!
