One hundred twenty Bay area youth coaches took part in the "Learn How to Play the Rays Way" coaching clinic on Saturday, Jan. 16. The free clinic featured professional advice and instruction from Rays pitching coach Jim Hickey, third base coach Tom Foley, Minor League field coordinator Bill Evers and Eckerd College Head Baseball Coach Bill Mathews.
In addition to coaching techniques, Drs. Koco Eaton, John A. Gross and Michael Riley from St. Anthony's Hospital provided a clinic on child injury prevention.
