FREE Prostrate Cancer Screenings
July 23, 2009 at Tropicana Field from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Prostrate Cancer Screening The Rays, along with ZERO - The Project to End Prostate Cancer, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Ed Randall's Bat for the Cure will offer free prostate cancer screenings for men at Tropicana Field:
  • Both the PSA and DRE tests will be offered
  • Takes about 10 minutes and does not require an appointment or insurance
  • Screening is encouraged for men 40-plus or who have a family history

Screenings will take place in the Center Field concourse at Tropicana Field. Just enter through the rotunda at Gate 1 to register and parking is available in Lots 6 or 7, which is accessible from 3rd Avenue South.

Each man who gets screened for prostate cancer on July 23 will receive two free tickets to one Tampa Bay Rays game during the August 18 - 23 homestand, excluding Saturday, August 22.

About prostate cancer
One in six men will get prostate cancer, but if caught early, nearly 100% survive. African American men have an even higher risk: one in four men. Early prostate cancer has no symptoms - that's why screening is so important.
