The Rays and Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association hosted the second Broadcast Auction of the season on Monday, June 30. The event raised over $34,000 for the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association Educational Foundation and Rays Baseball Foundation. We would like to thank all the partners that donated to the auction which made it a success: Ball Watch USA, Applebee's, Champps Americana, Tuscon's Southwest Grill, Universal City Walk, Broken Egg, Harry's Seafood Bar & Grill, and Beef O'Brady's.

The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association Educational Foundation (FRLAEF) will support sound educational experiences in preparation for dynamic and rewarding tourism careers. The FRLAEF will accomplish this mission by implementation of industry developed school-to-career programs through interaction with students, instructors and industry leaders.

About the RAYS FOUNDATION
The Rays Baseball Foundation focuses primarily on youth and education programs in the Tampa Bay region that make a measurable difference in our community. To achieve this mission the Foundation provides for three grant programs: The Community Fund Grant, The All Star Grant, and The Field Renovation grant, as well as dedicates and time efforts throughout the year to improve the community.
