Directions to Tropicana Field

Parking Signs

Please utilize the interactive map, above, for turn-by-turn directions to the lot of your choosing. Tropicana Field is located directly east of I-275 in St. Petersburg. The dome is visible from the highway. I-375 and I-175 both veer off of I-275 and feed into Tropicana Field.

  • Fans traveling southbound on I-275 from North Pinellas or Tampa are encouraged to take Exit 23B (5th Avenue North), and continue south on 20th Street to 1st Avenue South or 3rd Avenue South.
  • Fans traveling northbound on I-275 are encouraged to take Exit 21 (31st Street) and follow 31st Street to 5th Avenue South.

Follow the signs! Signs are located on approach routes throughout downtown St. Petersburg to help guide you to general parking areas and color-coded permit lots.

The Rays Go Green: Carpool and PARK FREE* at Tropicana Field!

For the fifth consecutive year, the Rays will continue to provide carpoolers access to free parking in team-controlled lots. As in 2009, vehicles with four or more passengers will continue to park free for all Bronze and Sunday games. For all other games, the first 100 cars with four or more will park for free up to an hour before game time, with other main lot Tropicana Field parking rates ranging from $10 to $20 per vehicle. Fans attending games at Tropicana Field are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy tailgating, live bands and baseball activities.

*Available for game day general parking in Lots 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9.

Reserved Parking for Season Ticket Holders

We are pleased to offer Season Ticket Holders the opportunity to purchase reserved parking at a discount, close to the stadium, based on availability. For information on how to reserve your season parking, please call 1-888-FAN-RAYS.

Disabled Parking and Drop-Off Locations

Lots 1, 6 and 7 offer disabled parking spaces just outside the gates, with the majority of the spaces located in Lots 6 and 7. All disabled parking is van-accessible. Enter Lot 6 from 1st Avenue South or 3rd Avenue South, Lot 7 from 4th Avenue South, and Lot 1 from 16th Street South. Disabled parking is subject to availability.

Additionally, there is a drop-off area in front of Gate 4, which is directly across from Lot 1 on 16th Street South. Please be advised that parking in the disabled parking spaces in the Tropicana Field lots is monitored by the St. Petersburg Police Department and is subject to state laws and privileges. In the past tickets have been issued and/or privileges revoked in situations where the person to whom a disabled parking placard or license plate has been issued is dropped off near the stadium and is not in the vehicle when it parks in a disabled space.

Public and Commercial Parking Surrounding Tropicana Field

Commercial and city-owned parking is also available at various price points surrounding Tropicana Field. These lots are not operated by the Rays and thus do not offer free parking.

FREE Baseball Shuttle for Select Games

For select games, this FREE Baseball Shuttle picks up passengers on Second Street mid-block between Central Avenue and 1st Avenue South (under the Bank of America Tower's pedestrian bridge) and drops passengers off on 16th Street South near Gate 4 at Tropicana Field. The Baseball Shuttle operates from 90 minutes before game time, throughout the game, until one hour after the game is over.

The city-owned garage on 1st Avenue South, just east of 2nd Street South, is the designated shuttle parking facility and costs $5. Other parking is available in the immediate downtown area. A dedicated van will be available for guests with special needs.

The Rays and Escot Bus Lines provide bus service to and from Rays games on select dates during the 2010 season. Take a break from traffic and parking and take a bus to the game!
