ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

Tropicana FieldNo alcoholic beverages may be brought into Tropicana Field; nor may guests take any alcoholic beverages out of the ballpark. Florida law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. Guests, therefore, will be required to show proper ID when purchasing alcoholic beverages at Tropicana Field. The sale of alcohol at concession stands or by vendors stops after the end of the seventh inning. Throughout the game, only two alcoholic beverages are allowed per person, per purchase.

ANIMALS

Animals are prohibited from entering the stadium. Only trained guide dogs or animals for the disabled certified by the State of Florida are permitted in the stadium.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES

The Rays have devices that can assist guests with hearing impairments. Please go to Gate 4 Guest Services for assistance.

AUTOGRAPHS

Fans are permitted to seek autographs from players along the railing at the outfield side of both the first and third base dugouts up to 30 minutes prior to game time.

AUTOMOTIVE ASSISTANCE

1st Response Towing and Recovery is available every game to assist any guests with vehicle problems. There is no charge for the services.

BAG CHECK

For the comfort and security of all our guests, we reserve the right to inspect all bags and packages entering Tropicana Field. Backpacks, purses, bags or packages which exceed 16 x 16 x 8 inches in size will not be allowed to enter Tropicana Field, and must be returned to the guest's vehicle. Wrapped gifts are not permitted.

BANNERS AND SIGNS

Banners, signs and flags may be displayed in the stadium, provided that they are baseball-related and do not contain profanity, discriminatory language, indecent images, political statements, or commercial references. Banners, signs, and flags must be hand-held and may not be hung on any of the outfield walls, over the playing field walls, over existing stadium signage, or held in such a way as to obstruct other guests' views. Management reserves the right to remove any sign or banner at any time.

BATS/BROOMS

Bats and brooms are allowed inside the stadium. Once inside, fans will not be allowed to display such items if the item is impeding another guest's view or becomes a safety issue. Sticks and/or poles of any other type are not permitted at any time.

BATTERS EYE RESTAURANT

Overlooking centerfield, the restaurant features a full buffet, carving stations and full cocktail bar. The restaurant has two seating sessions: pregame and during game. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis; however, reservations are suggested and will be accepted for both seating sessions. Guests may access the restaurant by using either the Centerfield Street escalator at Gate 1 or the Gate 1 elevator behind the Guest Services desk. Reservations may be made by contacting the Batter's Eye at 727-825-3378.

BATTING PRACTICE

Rays batting practice takes place two and one half hours before the first pitch. The visiting team's batting practice takes place ninety minutes before game time and lasts approximately one hour. Batting practice is taken at the discretion of the team and is subject to change.

BEACH BALLS AND OTHER INFLATABLE ITEMS

Beach balls, frisbees, or any other object that can be considered a projectile are prohibited inside Tropicana Field.

CAMERAS/VIDEO RECORDERS

Guests are permitted to bring cameras/video recorders into the stadium provided they are not for commercial use. Cameras and video recorders must be hand-held. Fans are not permitted to obstruct any aisles or the view of others. Tripods are prohibited. Lenses are restricted to less than 12 inches.

CARRY-IN ITEMS

Any carry-in item larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches, hard containers/coolers, glass bottles or cans will not be allowed into Tropicana Field. Food items and water are allowed. All food brought in must be contained in a clear plastic bag. Bottled water must be sealed and no more than one liter in volume. Outside food and beverage items are not permitted in suites or other private party areas. Laptops are permitted as long as their cases do not exceed 16 x 16 x 8 inches.

CENTERFIELD STREET BREWHOUSE

The Centerfield Street Brewhouse is open on game days from gates opening until one hour after the game. Be sure to stop by to mingle with other fans while listening to the pre- and postgame radio shows.

CHECKERS BULLPEN CAFÉ

Located down the right-field line on field level, this group party area provides a fantastic view of all the action. Contact your Season Ticket Services Specialist directly, call the Group Sales Department at 727-825-3406 or email groupsales@raysbaseball.com for more information. This area is available to groups of 50 - 85 people.

COLOR GUARD

Guests inquiring about serving as color guard prior to a game should submit a letter of interest and accolades, along with a photo of the guard presenting colors at an event to: Color Guard, Tropicana Field, One Tropicana Drive, St. Petersburg, FL 33705.

CORONA BEACH BAR

Located down the left field line on field level, this group party area offers an incredible view of the game. Contact your Season Ticket Services Specialist directly, call the Group Sales Department at 727-825-3406 or email groupsales@raysbaseball.com for more information. This area is available to groups of 75 -135 people.

DAY-OF-GAME FEES

Please note, day-of-game fees are applied to each ticket purchased within five hours of game time as follows: $3 for each Upper Deck & Outfield ticket; $4 for each Loge Box, Baseline Box and Press Level ticket; and $5 for each Lower Box, Lower Infield Box, Fieldside Box, Whitney Bank Club and Home Plate Club ticket.

DRINKING FOUNTAINS

Drinking fountains are conveniently located throughout the stadium, typically near the restrooms.

EJECTION/TRESPASS/DENIED ENTRY

The Rays reserve the right to deny entry, eject and trespass any individual from the stadium and stadium property for the following: fan interference, public intoxication, using offensive language, wearing garments with offensive language, disruptive, dangerous or obnoxious behavior, throwing objects, smoking inside the stadium, public indecency, nudity, urinating outside of the restrooms, entering restricted areas and violating laws, ordinances and facility policies.

ELEVATORS

Located at Gates 1, 2, 4, and 6. All elevators are staffed with an attendant on event days.

ESCALATORS

Located at Gates 1, 2, 6 and both 100 Level Food Courts.

FAN INTERFERENCE

Fans are not to interfere with any ball in play or throw objects onto the field. Anyone doing so will be subject to ejection from the stadium. Anyone venturing on the playing field will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

FIRST AID

St. Anthony's Fan Care Clinic can be found between Gates 3 and 4 on the 100 Level (behind home plate). The clinic is staffed by St. Anthony's Health Care Medical Team.

GATES

Gates open 1-1/2 hours prior to game time for all Monday-Thursday games. Gates open 2 hours prior to game time for all Friday-Sunday games. Tropicana Field has seven gate entrances/exits numbered clockwise 1-7, beginning with Gate 1. Gate 1 is also referred to as the Rotunda. Gates 1-6 are available to the public. Gate 4 is available for fans with accessibility needs and fans with tickets to suites, Home Plate Club, Whitney Bank Club and Club 105. Season ticket holder only entrances are located at Gates 1 and 3.

GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT

The Tampa Bay Rays and Tropicana Field are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable ballpark experience for our guests. Our staff is attentive to the quality of your environment and is always available. We ask that you assist us and play by the ground rules listed below to help ensure a "Family Entertainment" environment for all guests.

  • Avoid foul, abusive or obscene language or gestures.
  • Please drink responsibly. Consumption of alcohol by impaired, intoxicated or underage guests will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Clothing considered to be indecent, obscene, or offensive in nature and/or that detracts from our family-friendly atmosphere will not be tolerated.
  • Stay off of the playing field and/or any restricted area.
  • Please sit only in your ticketed seat and show your ticket when requested.
  • Smoke in designated smoking areas only.
  • Follow staff directions in case of emergency.
  • Please help us keep Tropicana Field clean by throwing your litter in the proper trash cans.

The Tampa Bay Rays appreciate that all fans observe our ground rules for guests. Please contact the nearest fan host staff member if, for any reason, another guest is interfering with your enjoyment of the game. Guests who choose not to adhere to these ground rules may be in violation of stadium/city ordinances and are subject to intervention, which may lead to denied admission into the stadium, ejection from the stadium and/or arrest.

The Tampa Bay Rays/Tropicana Field Management reserves unto itself, and itself alone, the right to determine what is considered indecent, obscene or offensive, what is unruly or rowdy behavior, what constitutes a disturbance and what items may or may not be allowed into the stadium.

GUEST SERVICES

Located at Gates 1, 3, 4 and on the 300 Level. Season Ticket Holders may also go to the Season Ticket Services table located on the 100 Level concourse behind sections 106/108. The Season Ticket Services table is open through the sixth inning for every game.

GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES

Tropicana Field and its amenities were designed to provide an enjoyable experience for all guests within the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Accessible parking is located in parking lots 1, 6A, 7A and 11 (subject to availability). Disabled and wheelchair seating is distributed throughout the stadium.

HEINEKEN GRANDSTAND

Located adjacent to the first base food court, the third base food court and in Centerfield Street. Come enjoy a refreshing Heineken beverage and catch the latest action around the league.

HOME PLATE CLUB

The seats behind home plate are among the closest in baseball -- starting only 50 feet from home plate. Home Plate Club Season Ticket Holders receive in-seat service, complimentary food and drinks, complimentary reserved VIP Parking in Lot 1, and access to the Whitney Bank Club. INFANT ADMISSION

Children two (2) years of age and older must have a ticket to enter Tropicana Field.

The Official Gameday Program of the Rays is free for all fans upon entry to Tropicana Field. New issues are published each month and feature over 60 colorful pages of fascinating stories, player profiles and kids' activities.

Baseball Trivia Challenge - Step on stage and take part in Tropicana Field's very own game show.

Visual Touch Photography Kiosk - Fans can get their photo taken in a Rays uniform and against other unique backgrounds. During an inning on Sunday games, Raymond will be on hand for pictures. (Inning subject to change, check with Guest Services for designated inning.)

St. Petersburg Times Press Box - Fans can create a personalized souvenir St. Petersburg Times front page.

Raymond's Art Studio - Kids can create their own arts and crafts, including signs to root on the Rays.

Raymond's Room - Fans can take a peek inside Raymond's living room, including a massive TV with blooper reels of Raymond's past hijinks.

TB Rays Carnival & T.G. Lee Rookie Challenge - Try your hand at 11 carnival games and the T.G. Lee Rookie Challenge. You can play all 11 games, including Plinko, Tip-a-Jug, Ring Toss, Ray Hop and Skee Ball. Simply purchase a scorecard from the check-in table and keep track of your high scores. Everyone's a winner! All proceeds from these games go toward the Rays Baseball Foundation. The T.G. Lee Rookie Challenge features a video batting cage and a speed pitch machine.

LOST AND FOUND

Guests may report or inquire about lost items during the game at the nearest Guest Services location (Gate 1, Gate 3, or Gate 4). Guests may also call Tropicana Field at 727-825-3137 during normal business hours, Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., to report and describe any lost items and/or schedule appointments to pick up items that have been found.

LUXURY SUITES

The Rays Luxury Suites provide a unique, upscale atmosphere ideal for special events, employee rewards or client entertainment. Guests inquiring about appearances by the Rays mascot, Raymond, or the Rays Entertainment Squad, the Ray Team, should contact the Fan Experience Department at 727-825-3289.

MEETING ROOMS

Meeting rooms are located on the Mezzanine Level along the left-field foul line. These rooms are available for small meetings or parties. Each room accommodates 24 people. Three rooms can be joined to seat up to 100. Catering and AV equipment are available. MEZZANINE PARTY AREA

Located on the Mezzanine Level along the third base line, this party area is available until first pitch for your pre-game tailgate party. Menu options range from traditional ballpark fare to an upscale buffet. NATIONAL ANTHEM

Guests inquiring about performing the National Anthem should submit a letter of interest and accolades, along with a DVD or CD to: Anthem Singers, Tropicana Field, One Tropicana Drive, St. Petersburg, FL 33705.

NOISE MAKERS/AIR HORNS/LASER POINTERS

Noise makers, air horns, laser pointers and any other irritant items are prohibited in the stadium unless approved by management. These items will be confiscated and checked at Guest Services. Guests may reclaim their item after the event. Any guest refusing to give up the prohibited item will be subject to ejection. Cowbells are permitted.

PAGING

Paging is only permitted in the event of an extreme emergency. Please refer those emergencies to Gate 1, Gate 3, or Gate 4 Guest Services.

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION
The parking system at Tropicana Field offers more than 7,000 parking spaces on 17 different lots spread around the facility. All vehicles with four or more passengers may park for free at all 2009 home games (excludes Lot 1; based on availability). For vehicles with fewer than four passengers, parking will cost $15. The Rays will also offer parking in remote lots (Lots 11, 12, 13 and 14) for $10. Rays Season Ticket Holders may purchase discounted parking in Lot 2 or Lot 6a, based on availability, by contacting Season Ticket Services at 727-825-3250. Lots open 3 hours before game time. Detailed parking maps are available at the back of this guide and on raysbaseball.com.
Accessible Parking - Located in Lots 1, 6A, 7A and 11.

Charter Buses - Buses with four or more passengers can park for free. Those with fewer than four passengers will cost $30. Buses can park on 2nd Avenue South between 9th and 10th Streets. Buses will be allowed to drop off and pick up their passengers along 4th Avenue South near Gate 3.

Limousines - Limousines with four or more passengers can park for free. Those with fewer than four passengers will cost $30. Limousines are allowed to drop off and pick up on Tropicana Drive outside Gate 4 or along 4th Avenue South near Gate 3, with parking accommodations in the limousine lot at the southwest corner of 16th Street and 5th Avenue South.

RVs - RVs with four or more passengers can park for free. Those with fewer than four passengers will cost $30. Recreational Vehicles are not permitted to park overnight on Tropicana Field property. When they arrive on site, accommodations can be made for these vehicles on a game-to-game basis; however, in general, they will need to park in the same location as the buses. Telephone numbers of the nearest RV campgrounds can be obtained from the nearest Guest Services location.

Taxis - Taxis can be called upon at any Guest Services location. Drop off and pickup is on Tropicana Drive in front of Gate 4.

Tropicana Drive - Tropicana Drive is located in front of Gate 4. The entrance to the drive is on 16th Street South with the exit onto 4th Avenue South. The drive is reserved as a disabled and limousine drop-off and pick-up point.

Baseball Looper Trolley - For select games, the trolley operates from 90 minutes before game time, throughout the game, until 1 hour after the game is over. The FREE baseball shuttle picks up passengers on Second Street mid-block between Central Avenue and First Avenue S. (under the Bank of America Tower's pedestrian bridge) and drops passengers off on First Avenue S. near 16th Street. The city-owned garage accessible on First Avenue S., just east of Second Street, is the designated shuttle parking facility and will cost $5. Other parking is available in the immediate downtown area. A dedicated van will be available for guests with special needs. Routes may change with demand. To return to your car after the game, make sure you board the Baseball Looper at the same stop where you were dropped off.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The Tampa Bay Rays and Tropicana Field are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable ballpark experience for our guests. Our staff is attentive to the quality of your environment and is always available. We ask that you assist us by observing the prohibited items listed below to help ensure a "Family Entertainment" environment for all our guests.

    The following items are prohibited in Tropicana Field:
  • bags/purses, backpacks, soft-sided coolers/containers, food items and unwrapped presents* in excess of 16" X 16" X 8"
  • hard containers or coolers of any kind/type/size
  • helium balloons and beach balls
  • bullhorns/airhorns/lasers
  • weapons/fireworks
  • cameras with lenses over 12"
  • electronic equipment that interferes with other fans' enjoyment of the game
  • banners and flags with sticks/poles or items that can obstruct a fan's view
  • obscene clothing

*Please note that if you have a planned party of any kind that includes gifts, we advise either wrapping the gift item at Tropicana Field after the item has been inspected or place the unboxed gift item in a gift bag. Our security staff will ask guests to open any wrapped items.

If any of the prohibited items are discovered at our gates, our security staff members will ask that you return these items to your vehicle or discard them. Prohibited items will not be stored at the gates or Guest Services.

PLAYER APPEARANCES

Organizations or persons requesting an appearance must submit a request in writing, preferably on letterhead, with at least six (6) weeks notice, to the attention of the Communications Department. No faxes will be accepted.

POWER ALLEY PUB

This area is located outside the Batter's Eye Restaurant, overlooking centerfield. Select dates are available with a two-hour buffet for your group of 80. RADIOS/TVs

Radios and TVs are permitted inside the stadium. If any of these items interfere with a guest's enjoyment of the game, the devices must be turned off. The Rays flagship radio station is 620 WDAE, and can be received inside Tropicana Field. The Rays will also offer a simulcast of the games inside Tropicana Field on 1260 AM.

RADIO BROADCASTS

The new flagship for the majority of games broadcast on the Rays Radio Network is 620 WDAE. Certain day games or weekend games that experience programming conflicts will be broadcast on 1250 WHNZ or 970 WFLA during the season (log on to raysbaseball.com for details). Rays games can be heard on MLB.com and home games are available on XM Radio. Rays games in Spanish can be heard on Genesis 680 WGES in Tampa. To find a Rays Radio affiliate along the Rays Radio Network please check raysbaseball.com for a complete list of stations in your area.

RAYS TOUCH TANK

The Rays Touch Tank is located in Centerfield Street at Gate 1. The Rays Touch Tank experience is free to all fans attending home games. There is a limit of 50 people in the tank area at any time. Each session is ten minutes in length. The Rays Touch Tank will close approximately two hours after the first pitch. Fans may purchase food to feed the rays, with the proceeds going to The Florida Aquarium and the Rays Baseball Foundation.

RUN THE BASES
After every Sunday home game, the Rays invite all fans ages 12 and under to run the bases. All guests 12 and under who wish to participate should gather in the first base food court at the conclusion of the game.

Fans who would like to wish a friend or family member Happy Birthday on the outfield scoreboard or tbt* board in left field can visit raysbaseball.com or visit any Guest Services location at Tropicana Field for more details. All proceeds go to the Rays Baseball Foundation.

SEAT NUMBERS

Even-numbered sections are on the first base/right field side of Tropicana Field.

Odd-numbered sections are on the third base/left field side of Tropicana Field.

Looking at the field, seat 1 is to the left in all sections.

SMOKING AREAS

Tropicana Field is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is prohibited anywhere inside Tropicana Field. Guests are permitted to smoke inside the fenced areas outside the building at Gates 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7; or outside on the ramps at Gates 2, 3, 5 and 6.

SOLICITATION/LITERATURE

The solicitation of contributions and the distribution of literature on property inside or outside the building is prohibited.

STROLLERS

Strollers are permitted inside Tropicana Field, provided they can be stored beneath a seat during the game. Strollers must be small enough to keep out of walkways and aisles. If the stroller cannot fit beneath the seat or if it is a non-folding type, it must be checked at a Guest Services location. Strollers are prohibited on all escalators.

tbt* Party Deck

The tbt* Party Deck offers unique, bleacher-style seating located on the 300 Level overlooking left field. Contact your Season Ticket Services Specialist, call the Group Sales Department at 727-825-3406 or email groupsales@raysbaseball. com for details on group discounts in this area.

TEAM STORE

The Team Store is located in Centerfield Street near Gate 1 and is open during Rays home games and special public events. Monday - Saturday game days, the Team Store opens at 2 p.m. and remains open until approximately 30 minutes after the end of the game. On Sunday and afternoon game days, the store will open when gates open. Novelty kiosks are open throughout the stadium during all home games. Please contact the Tropicana Field Team Store at 727-825-3429 or Season Ticket Services at 727-825-3250 for up-to-date information on non-game day hours.

TED WILLIAMS MUSEUM & HITTERS HALL OF FAME

Visit the Hitters Hall of Fame to see many of baseball's greatest players, past and present. The collection houses the greats of baseball history from Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Willie Mays and Ted Williams, "the greatest hitter who ever lived." See baseball's best come to life in the "Hitter's Theatre" and view the unique collections with tributes to Japanese baseball, the Negro League and the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.

TELEPHONES

Pay telephones are located in Left Field Street near Gate 7, on the 100 Level across from section 107, and on the 300 Level across from sections 305-307.

TELEVISION BROADCASTS

This season the Rays will broadcast 150 games on either Sun Sports or FOX Sports Florida. Visit raysbaseball.com for the latest Rays Baseball TV schedule information.

TICKET RESELLING

Tickets may not be resold on Tropicana Field property including its parking lots. Individuals engaged in ticket reselling may be subject to ejection from the premises and/or arrest and prosecution. Any ticket holders interested in reselling their tickets are encouraged to use StubHub.

UMBRELLAS

Umbrellas are permitted inside the stadium. Once inside, the umbrella must be placed under the guest's seat.

UNAUTHORIZED TRANSMISSION

No person admitted to the stadium shall transmit or aid in the transmission of any description, account, picture or reproduction of any baseball game (including pregame or postgame activities) or other events conducted in Tropicana Field unless expressly authorized by the Tampa Bay Rays.

Wheelchair transports are provided by St. Anthony's Event Health Care Medical Team.

  • For ease of ingress and egress it is recommended that those requiring wheelchair access drop off on Tropicana Drive and enter through Gates 4 or 5.
  • Wheelchair transporters will not be allowed to leave Tropicana Field to pick up or deliver patrons outside of the gates.
  • Wheelchairs are not available for any portion of the game nor for rent.
  • Wheelchair transports will be available on a first-come, first-served basis only.

Leaving the Facility: Guests are asked to be patient when requesting assistance leaving the facility. If the individual waits until the 8teighthnning, they will be picked up in the order that they were dropped off. If the individual did not use the wheelchair transportation service upon arrival they will be added to the end of the list.
