It looked bleak after Jason Hammel left with a shoulder injury with his club down a run in the fourth inning, but a two-run blast by Carl Crawford turned the tide in a three-run sixth. The Rays tacked on two more runs en route to a victory. Jonny Gomes had a homer of his own in the third.
