Rays have two ALDS sellouts
First playoff games at Tropicana Field prove hot tickets

A limited number of tickets will still be available for fans who make deposits on 2009 season tickets.
Fans registering via raysbaseball.com and then selected in a random drawing were eligible to participate in Tuesday's Internet presale.
"We had a good sense there was going to be a lot of demand for the tickets," said Rays principal owner Stuart Sternberg. "... It's the nature of the Internet, and things happen very quickly."
Who will be Tampa Bay's opponent and the dates and times of the games are yet to be determined. If the Rays win the American League East, there's a good chance they will open at Tropicana Field against the Central Division champions, which would mean the White Sox or Twins. That game would be played Oct. 1 or Oct. 2, with Game 2 on Oct. 3. Should the Rays finish as the Wild Card, they would be forced to play their first game on the road and would not play Game 3 at home until Oct. 5, with the possibility of a Game 4 on Oct. 6.
Sternberg said he wasn't surprised about the sellouts coming so quickly, adding, "I would have been ridiculously disappointed had it not."
"This was very much an expectation," Sternberg said. "It's postseason baseball. I can't even think about running this business if it wouldn't have happened."
