  • Rays honor 2014 'Raymond James Community Impact Award' Winners

    The Tampa Bay Rays and Raymond James Financial have announced the winners of the 2014 Raymond James Community Impact Award which recognizes non-profit organizations that have made a positive impact on the Tampa Bay community. Each recipient was honored during a pregame presentation prior to the Rays-Yankees game on Tuesday night at Tropicana Field.

    Major League Baseball and Chevrolet, the official vehicle of MLB, today announced that Evan Longoria was named the Tampa Bay Rays 2014 nominee for the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award presented by Chevrolet.

  • Rays return to Tropicana Field for final homestand

    Following a six-game road trip, the Tampa Bay Rays return to Tropicana Field on Monday to begin their final homestand of the season during which they will host the New York Yankees (September 15-17) and Chicago White Sox (September 19-21).

    The Tampa Bay Rays will host the second of two Dog Days at Tropicana Field on Sunday, September 7 when the Rays take on the Baltimore Orioles at 1:40 p.m. The Rays Wives will also host a pet food drive to benefit Pet Pal Animal Shelter in St. Petersburg.

  • Rays Baseball Foundation and Helios Education Foundation announce 2014 scholars

    In 2012, the Rays Baseball Foundation and Helios Education Foundation teamed up to provide $1 million in college scholarships for students participating in Take Stock in Children in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Sarasota, Manatee and Pasco counties over a five-year period. On Friday, August 29, the Tampa Bay Rays and Helios will recognize a new class of scholars for 2013-14 during a pregame presentation at Tropicana Field.

  • Rays host three American League East opponents over 10-game homestand

    ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.-The Tampa Bay Rays return to Tropicana Field on Friday to begin a 10-game homestand against American League East opponents. The Rays first take on the Boston Red Sox (August 29-September 1) in a four-game series that concludes on Labor Day before facing the Toronto Blue Jays (September 2-4) and Baltimore Orioles (September 5-7) for three games apiece.

  • Rays host Yankees, Tigers on six-game homestand

    The Tampa Bay Rays return to Tropicana Field on Friday for a six-game homestand featuring a weekend series against the New York Yankees (August 15-17) and a three-game set against the Detroit Tigers (August 19-21).
