Seattle Mariners players have picked out their "favorite things"-from DVDs and CDs to snack foods and hobbies-thrown in a trove of autographed items, and are offering them for auction on Friday, August 29, during the Mariners vs. Washington Nationals game at Safeco Field. Mariners Celebrate Evergreen Jackie Robinson Scholars at Safeco Field
Three students who attend the Evergreen State College in Olympia will be honored on Tuesday, August 26, during a ceremony before the Seattle Mariners game against the Texas Rangers (7:10pm start). The students are recipients of the annual Jackie Robinson Memorial Scholarship from the Evergreen State College Foundation.
