    The Houston Astros and new corporate partner Mazda are teaming up in 2014 to enhance the fan experience in Minute Maid Park. Mazda is now the official naming rights partner of the Mazda Club Level on the second floor of Minute Maid Park, which will showcase brand new 2014 models, including the Mazda6 mid-size sedan, the Mazda3 compact sedan and five-door and the Mazda CX-5 compact SUV.

    Majestic Athletic, the official on-field uniform supplier of Major League Baseball, in partnership with the Houston Astros and Major League Baseball, is announcing a special day for local baseball fans to celebrate by inviting them to don their official Astros team jerseys in a show of baseball fan pride for the Astros home game on May 2.

  • Astros Select Springer From Triple A Oklahoma City

    The Houston Astros have made several roster moves following last night's game, including the selection of outfielder George Springer to the Major League roster. The Astros also reinstated right-handed pitcher Scott Feldman from the Bereavement List and he will make his scheduled start tomorrow vs. Kansas City. To make room for Springer and Feldman on the active roster, the Astros optioned outfielder Robbie Grossman to Triple A Oklahoma City and designated right-handed pitcher Lucas Harrell for assignment. The announcements were made by Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow.

    The Astros will join the rest of Major League Baseball in celebrating Jackie Robinson Day. Sixty-seven years ago today, Jackie Robinson broke MLB's color barrier on April 15, 1947, starting at first base for the Brooklyn Dodgers vs. the Boston Braves at Ebbets Field.
