  • Mother's Day weekend celebration highlights Orioles homestand

    The Orioles will open a 10-game homestand on Thursday, April 28, when they host the Chicago White Sox at 7:05 p.m. ET. The homestand will feature several special events including the launch of the Birdland Community Heroes Program and a celebration for Mother's Day weekend including Catch on the Field, recognition of the Orioles' 2016 Honorary Bat Girl, and all Orioles uniformed personnel wearing jerseys with pink Orioles script and caps with a pink cartoon bird in honor of Mother's Day on Sunday, May 8. Additionally, two unique giveaways for the first 10,000 female fans 18 and over will be given out that weekend: an Orioles canvas tote presented by MLB Network (May 7) and a Mother's Day infinity scarf (May 8).

    The Orioles Birdland Community Heroes program honors and recognizes community heroes who inspire us through their spirited commitment to extend a hand in charity, service, hope, and harmony. This recognition honors the heroism of members of our extended Orioles community from all walks of life, occupations, and diverse backgrounds living in our region, our country, and abroad, who have distinguished themselves by selflessly working or volunteering in fields that care for, serve, teach, protect, and improve the lives of others, around the corner or around the globe, who are most in need.

    The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated RHP Kevin Guasman from the 15-day disabled list and optioned INF Ryan Flaherty to Triple-A Norfolk.

  • Orioles claim RHP David Hale off waivers from Colorado

    The Orioles today announced that they have claimed RHP DAVID HALE off waivers from the Colorado Rockies. Hale has been optioned to Triple-A Norfolk.

  • Orioles encourage fans to Vote Orange, send O's to 2016 MLB All-Star Game

    The Orioles today announced that fans can begin voting to send Orioles players to the 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star Game in San Diego, Calif. This year, the Orioles are encouraging fans to vote early, vote often, and "Vote Orange."

  • Orioles reinstate LHP Brian Matusz from DL, place RHP Yovani Gallardo on DL

    Matusz, 29, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on April 3 (retroactive to March 25) with a left intercostal strain. He made five rehab appearances (one start) between Class A-Advanced Frederick and Double-A Bowie and recorded 16 strikeouts in 10.0 innings.

  • Orioles announce remaining extended Spring Training games

    The public is invited to watch Orioles minor league players in action in Sarasota during Extended Spring Training during the months of April, May, and June. There is no charge to attend the games, which will be held on Field 4 at the Ed Smith Stadium complex.

  • Orioles to host sixth annual All Faiths Holiday Food Drive on Saturday, April 26

    Discounted Upper Reserve tickets are available for purchase at www.orioles.com/autism, and $5 for every ticket sold through the site will benefit Autism Speaks, the world's leading autism science and advocacy organization dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.

  • Orioles series against Toronto Blue Jays

    This week, the Orioles will play a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays. The brief homestand will feature several special events including the Greater Baltimore Committee's Welcome Home Reception and several pregame ceremonies during the series.
