PHILADELPHIA -- The Tampa Bay Rays have a big decision to make, but they still may wait one more day.

With a spot open for a No. 5 starter, will it be Jason Hammel or Jeff Niemann? Will Lance Cormier be sent to the bullpen for long relief?

The Rays have until 3 p.m. ET on Sunday to finalize their roster. It's conceivable that they could trade either Hammel or Niemann, and the Colorado Rockies have reportedly shown interest in Hammel.

Cormier's future in the bullpen could be solidified if Hammel or Niemann is dealt. If not, Cormier may not be in the club's plans.

"We have a pretty good idea," Rays manager Joe Maddon said, referring to the roster. "We still need one more day."

Cormier pitched two innings in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Phillies, giving up three hits and one earned run in two innings.

Hammel, Niemann and Cormier are all out of options and can't be sent to the Minor Leagues without first passing through waivers.

Hammel and Niemann are scheduled to work in a camp game Sunday at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, Fla.
