PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Charlotte Sports Park will host the Major League Baseball Alumni Legends of Baseball Game on March 21.

Former Major League All-Stars and Hall of Famers such as Gaylord Perry, Jim Kaat, Bert Blyleven, Bert Campaneris, Mike Myers and Doug Creek will take the field to participate in the Home Run Derby and the "Legends for Youth" Baseball Clinic, in addition to the game.

The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association was formed in 1982 in order to promote the game of baseball, raise money for charity, inspire and educate youth through positive sport images and protect the dignity of the game through former players.

The schedule of events is as follows (all times ET):

• 2 p.m. Legends of Youth Baseball Clinic (free)

• 6:15 p.m. Home Run Derby

• 7:05 p.m. "Legends of Baseball" Game

Prices range from $5 for Berm seating to $15 for Field Box seats. Tickets can be purchased at the Charlotte Sports Park Box offices or through Ticketmaster.
