Rays outright Orvella to Durham
Hurler spent parts of three seasons in the Major Leagues
LAS VEGAS -- The Rays made a move on Monday, outrighting right-hander Chad Orvella to Triple-A Durham.
The assignment moved the Rays' 40-man roster to 38.
Orvella, 28, spent parts of three seasons with the Rays, compiling a 4-10 career mark with a 5.79 ERA and one save. His best season came in 2005, when he went 3-3 with a 3.60 ERA in 37 games.
