ANAHEIM -- Rocco Baldelli left the Rays' Thursday contest against the Angels with a right leg contusion.

Baldelli ran into the wall chasing Orlando Cabrera's third-inning double to center field.

"I don't really know what happened," Baldelli said. "I don't even know where I hit it. But I know at some point I hit something pretty square, and it ended up being the wall."

Baldelli, who is listed as day-to-day, did not rule out playing on Friday in Oakland.
