Royals 5K Run/Walk - 8:00 a.m. Start

Where

Starting outside the Truman Sports Complex and run through the Visiting Bullpen onto the warning track. (Course subject to change).

Registration Dates and Entry Fee

• $25 by August 1
• $30 by August 25
• $35 by September 5 online / during packet pick-up and on race day
• * Includes free Royals ticket

Directions

Take I-70 to Blue Ridge Cutoff and enter Gate 2. Park in Lot A and proceed to Gate E. Rivals Sports Bar is located inside Gate E.

All Participants in the 2013 5K Royals Run will receive:

• One View Level Infield Voucher to redeem for one ticket to one of the last games of the 2013 Season (Value $18.00). Available Games: Sept. 8, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22.
• Commemorative T-Shirt
• Food and drink following the race
• Option to purchase additional discounted tickets

Age Groups

13 & under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.

Awards

Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each age bracket. Awards will be distributed following the race in the Outfield Experience Plaza Party Area.

Course

The 5k Run/Walk will be USATF certified and chip timed.

Disclaimer

Safety comes first. The race director reserves the right to cancel the event if weather conditions pose a danger to the participants. There will be no refunds. No headphones, iPods, strollers, dogs, skateboards, bicycles, rollerblades or motorized vehicles will be allowed on the 5k Run/walk Course.
