Joshua Bachman of Cape Coral, Fla., has been a Braves diehard his entire life. Now he wants to spend the rest of it with Rays fan Carley Davis from Knoxville, Tenn.
During the third inning of Saturday's game, all of Tropicana Field watched on the big screen as Bachman -- wearing a Chipper Jones jersey -- got down on one knee to propose. His Braves were leading 2-0 when Davis said yes.
But no sooner had the ring changed hands than control of the scoreboard did too, as Matt Joyce launched a grand slam to give Tampa Bay a 4-2 advantage.
Something tells us this might not be the last debate Joshua loses to Carley ...
